A Stone Accent Among Plants

A river stone garden lantern introduces a natural material that works alongside foliage, gravel, mulch, and paving. Its approximately 17-inch maximum width gives you a useful starting point when planning the space around it. Allow room for the full outline rather than placing it tightly between plants or other objects.

Position the lantern where its shape can be appreciated from a walkway, patio, or garden seat. It can serve as an individual focal point within a planting bed or mark a change in the landscape, such as the entrance to a path. Consider how nearby plants will grow and whether they may eventually cover the stone.

Placement Along Paths & Lawns

Place this river stone garden lantern on a firm, level base that supports it securely. A prepared foundation is especially useful within a lawn or planting bed, where loose soil and uneven ground can affect stability. Choose the location and check the base before setting the stone in place.

Beside a pathway, leave enough clearance for comfortable passage. Within a lawn, allow space for mowing and other routine maintenance. Consider the lantern’s 25-inch height when planning its position relative to low planting, nearby furniture, and the main viewing direction.

Care & Handling

Remove loose dirt with a soft brush or cloth and clean gently when needed. Avoid aggressive cleaning products that may affect the stone or installed lighting. Follow the lighting manufacturer’s maintenance guidance separately for any electrical equipment.
